I would always drive past and after 5 years I finally got to visit. My phone call to ask for directions was easy. Sat down with the wife before the crowd arrived whew . Service was excellent and friendly. Food recommendations were Spot ON. The staff were always making sure everything well with frequent checks and our coffee and water was topped off. Start your day at Rise and Shine. You'll be off to a great start and have a fantastic rest of your day! I give the hard working staff a five Star Award
Seems like we found a new place to stop for breakfast on the way to the North Shore. My husband decided to try somewhere new and I'm so glad he did. The food was excellent. I had the Loco Moco with no onions, asked for more gravy, which they provided. It was really good. Eggs cook just right, over easy, enough hamburger meat. I wanted to try the pancakes so instead of the two stack regular order of banana Mac pancakes with coconut sauce, I got one and it was huge. I can't imagine eating too, but that again I did order a main dish. The pancakes were just right, not overly fluffy and not too dense. The bananas and macadamia nuts were cooked inside the pancake the way it should be, some places just put it on top. And the coconut sauce was a great topper. I'm sure this would've tasted well also with just regular butter and maple syrup. My husband had a croissant and fruits which he enjoyed. He helped a little bit with the pancake which we ended up taking half home and had for breakfast the next day. Still just as good. Even my grandson loved his kids pancakes, which is three 3 inch in diameter pancakes. Perfect for him. I apologize for the pictures, took after we started eating. Also, we were seated immediately, the place was almost completely full and that was Tuesday morning. It was not too loud or too quiet. The service was awesome, everybody was friendly and helpful and good timing.
This is now my favorite breakfast place! We live in town and drive out to eat here. The drive is worth it for me. They have the best banana Mac pancakes which are huge so one is plenty.

Cute little cafe style breakfast and lunch place. Fantastic homemade desserts! Often there is a wait because it is so popular. Staff is friendly and efficient. Menu has something for everyone. Yummy coffee too.
